Starfish by the sea

He mentioned a story he had heard. The story said;

Once there was a child who everyday would walk along a beach where thousands of starfish would wash up on shore, and everyday this child would throw a few back into the water for another chance at life. The child knew that there was no way to save everyone of them, but nevertheless the child continued to go out to the beech everyday, and throw starfish back into the ocean.
One day, an old man who had been watching the child walked up to him and said, "There are thousands of starfish, you know you can't save them all so why do this? What does it matter?"
The child looked at the old man, leaned down, scooped up a starfish and threw it back into the ocean, then said; "It mattered to that one."

This story inspired me so much that I had to illustrate it.
